Happy children learn best!
Agape- To live, to learn, to love together.
At Guyhirn Primary school we encourage our children to play, learn and grow together. We pride ourselves on creating an environment where both children and adults feel safe and take pride in their school. It is of vital importance to us, that our children feel a sense of belonging where their needs for support, respect and friendship are met.
Our aim is to provide lifelong learning for our children. We encourage them to learn from each other, gaining knowledge from a variety of experiences and sharing that knowledge to discover new things together. We recognize that schools play a central role in preparing our pupils for their future and therefore we use our time effectively, sharing our expertise and passion for learning. As a community we are ambitious and we strive to work together, to ensure our children leave school feeling valued, confident and inquisitive about the world around them and the exciting future ahead of them.
Childhood is a very special and important time and we know that when we get it right in the early years, we can expect to see children thrive throughout school and their adult lives. We aim to make school life an experience which is stimulating, meaningful, fun and most importantly, memorable. We will support each child in their learning through building independence and confidence.
Why choose us?
We currently have 76 children working in 3 mixed age classes, as well as our own Pre-school on site. The education of each child includes not only their academic achievement, but their social, moral, spiritual, creative and physical development. We have high expectations in all areas including sport, music and the arts. Our children are always encouraged to achieve their best. As a result, children have made very strong progress over recent years and we are extremely pleased to be able to say that Guyhirn Church of England Primary School has been judged to be a GOOD school in all areas (Ofsted July 2016)
